Robert Wiggins, Owner & Cheerleader

Robert spends every living minute being grateful for and excited about being able to work on motorcycles for a living. His energy and passion are boundless, infectious, and you won’t see the likes of him anywhere else.

Brandon Helwig, Co-Owner & Master Technician

Brandon has been riding, building, and repairing motorcycles since he was a little kid. (Seriously. The worry he caused his poor mama.) His innate passion, talent, and years of experience make him an adept mechanical engineer, and he can diagnose, fix, or modernize absolutely any bike.

Where Brandon really shines, though, is in engine builds. His attention to detail and precise craftsmanship make him an asset to any shop, and his pure love for motorcycles and determination to handle each one like it’s his own makes us proud and lucky to have him as our master tech. Don’t let the hair fool you. Your bike truly could not be in better hands.

Forrest Card, Operations Manager

Forrest has had a passion for motorcycles since the age of four. After building a mini bike with his father out of a tubular frame and a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine (you read that right), he moved on to owning and maintaining a variety of Japanese dirt bikes with his brothers. He’s been working on all kinds of motorcycles in his garage ever since.

After two years of working semi-professionally on Triumphs and Japanese motorcycles and attending Central Carolina College for motorcycle mechanics (ahem. 4.0 GPA), he’s excited to be a part of the Vintage Moto Team.

Joel Weininger, Technician

Joel owned his own shop, J.W. Racepart, for almost twenty years. The New Jersey-based business offered a myriad of services, including modification of high-performance motorcycles, engine and chassis building and tuning, driver aids for special needs customers, and cylinder head specialty service. From 1998-2006, Joel was a Honda Power Sport and Power principal equipment dealer, himself rated a gobsmacking #2 dealer (for Power House Honda in Nyack) in the entire New York metro area.

Joel is a national Thunderbike champion and former head tech inspector and starter for AAMRR. He also built the motors for three WERA National Endurance Championship winners and several 3/4 Midget champions, and has been a certified Generac Protector Series tech for more than 10 years. For all this, we forgive him for being a northerner. ; )
