Welcome to the world of classic motorcycle repair and restoration! Our team at Vintage Moto USA has been repairing and restoring these magnificent machines for many years and providing you with the information and resources you need to keep your classic motorcycle running smoothly.

Vintage and 1990’s motorcycles with carbureted engines up to 900cc are highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts for their timeless design, performance, and style. These bikes are typically built with high-quality materials and are known for their durability and longevity. However, as with any machine that has been in use for a number of years, these bikes will require maintenance and repairs to keep them in good working condition.

The first step in repairing or restoring a classic motorcycle is to assess its condition and any known issues. This will involve thoroughly inspecting the engine, transmission, electrical system, and frame for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Once our team has a good understanding of the motorcycle’s condition, we can start making any necessary repairs and restorations. There are a few key areas to focus on when it comes to repairing the engine of any classic motorcycle. For carbureted engines, it’s important to make sure the carburetor is clean and functioning properly and that it was not altered in any way. Some aftermarket parts used in carburetors do not function correctly resulting in an incorrect fuel mix supply to the engine and poor performance. This involves removing the carburetor and cleaning it thoroughly, checking the needle valve, and replacing any worn or damaged parts as well as aftermarket parts that are not suitable for your classic make and model.

In addition to the carburetor, our team will also check your fuel system for any leaks or blockages. This may involve replacing the fuel lines, cleaning the fuel tank, and installing a new fuel filter. The electrical system is another key component of a classic motorcycle that requires regular maintenance. This system is responsible for powering the lights, ignition, and other essential components, so it’s important to make sure everything is in good working order. This may involve cleaning and tightening connections, replacing any damaged wiring, and checking the battery. Last we will inspect the body and remove rust or corrosion, repair dents or cracks, and repaint the motorcycle to bring it back to its original condition.

With exceptional service and flat rate pricing, our team has the experience, creativity, and confidence to get you riding.
